We searched for a long time to find a fan that we thought would work well for us. One aspect that I wouldn't have initially thought to look for but my honey pointed out is that with our ceiling being only the standard 8 foot high it was really helpful to have a fixture that didn't hang down too much from the ceiling. This fixture works really well for us in that regard. It only hangs down maybe 3-4 inches and its style works really well with our Edwardian/Victorian home.

So I am just the user of this fan. My honey installed it for me. It
seemed like the installation went pretty well. He's a really skilled
handyman. Apart from that I can't comment too much on the installation.

But as the end user of this fan let me tell you so far - I LOVE IT! It's
quiet. It's beautiful. It looks so nice in our space. My bathroom is
over 80 years old. This is the first time it's ever had a fan. It is
simply lovely. What an upgrade.
